Coming from CA, we are picky about our mexican food and this place is a regular visit for us. FRESH food, friendly employees and a wonderful salsa bar (we buy 4 oz containers to bring home for extra chips). I love their steak quesadilla....my family loves their shredded beef tacos, carne asada burrito, carnitas burrito and nachos with any of their options! Great guacamole........Eat there or bring it home, they always get the order correct!

Update: 2/4/15 I loved this place last time I was here so I came back. This time I got two tacos combo. Service was really quick. It's fast food really. But the thing that turned me off this time was the tacos. The shells were indeed stale and they piled cheese on. That's my only real complaint. I read the other review for here that's a one star and I completely agree the taco shells were really hard and stale.

My Wife and I go to Taco Express a couple of times a month and we always enjoy our food. Taco Express is in-between fast food and a full-on sit down Mexican restaurant. You get your food pretty fast and it's always nice and hot. They also have a little salsa bar which is handy. If you want some decent Mexican food without having to go to a full on Mexican restaurant, then Taco Express is perfect for you. PROS -Great food -You get your food fast -Friendly staff -Salsa bar -Clean bathrooms CONS -None TIPS -The Super Nachos are amazing, and you get a lot for the price. -For a nice little dessert, get the Cheese Cake Chimichanga. It's good!

Have eaten here several times. My favorite is the breakfast. I order the chorizo, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito and it is just awesome. The times I have had lunch and dinner there were decent but the breakfast is where it's at.

The first time I tried this place in Spring Hill TN I was impressed! The So-Cal Mexican food is as fresh as it gets. The guacamole is awesome!!! Their tortilla chips and guacamole are made there fresh everyday. Service was amazing for a fast food place, they cater to their customers with a reward program. You can even find good Mexican beer here! I'm making it a weekly stop!

I love Mexican food but I did not like this much at all. I ordered a taco and enchilada. The taco shell was your typical boxed shell and it tasted a little stale. The meat did taste fresh and was very good, though, so that was a plus. The enchilada was not good because the sauce was sweet and tasted a little like cinnamon; I didn't like it at all. My husband had a taco salad and he said it was good but no better or worse than the other places we've been. So far, the best Mexican food we've had in Spring Hill is Tito's. Beyond that, Chuey's in Franklin still gets my #1 vote for Mexican food in the area.
